B. Connect the lower end of the metal antenna mast (pipe) by tinned copper wire
of at least 6 mm sq. (2,75mm diameter) to the lightning-ground.
This tinned copper wire can be connected to the antenna mast by means of a clamp
(see figure 7).
The tinned copper wire between the mast and the earth-electrode (the so called
down going conductor) must run down between the lower end of the mast and the
earth-electrode, with as little number of curves as possible and by the shortest
way.
At the same time this wire must run at the greatest possible distance to other
wires. If the wire passes a metal gutter or a roof rim, it must be connected to
it by means of a clamp.
Install the wire secure to the house.
The connection to the vertical earth electrode can be done the same way or by
soldering.
