Connect the screening of this cable to earth.
To do this, you have to make a down going link in the coax cable, just before
the point where it is entering the house, like said under 2.
See figure 5.
Remove carefully the outer insulation of the coax cable at the lowest point in the link.
Connect to it a wire of at least 6mm sq. (2.75mm diameter) and waterproof it.
Connect the other end of the wire to the grounding, using the shortest way
and as little curves as possible. For details, see figures 8, 9 and 10.
In case of more then one antenna cable, this measure applies to every cable
separately.
5. Measure for houses already equipped with a grounding-cage.
If the house has a grounding cage, the lower end of the antenna mast must be connected to a roof-ground-conductor (see figure 11).
Use the same material as used in the grounding cage. The measure as under 4c.
must also be taken. The measures under 1, 2 and 3 must be taken also.
Antennas with a rotor:
The safety measures to a antenna rotor have to be taken by a specialist.
